I had heard about Santa Land for a couple of years from Jeff's aunt Pam, but this was the first year that we have actually gone. It was adorable to say the least. And free. We got to go in and out of little decorated house.

Mrs. Claus was in the gingerbread house waiting for us with cookies. It's very unusual for Kathryn to actually go up to someone she doesn't know...no less take a picture with them. The cookies helped. Casey, on the other hand, is a go getter and is up for anything (especially if a picture is involved.)

They even had a Christmas princess. Casey thought she was great. An actual princess. Both girls got wands. Again, Kathryn walked up to her and we were shocked.

Rudolph's stable was available to try out the saddles. A lady outside the door had red paint to paint the girls' noses. Casey hopped right on the saddle and was ready to say cheese. Kathryn was hesitant and I'm not sure if she ever got on the saddle.
The North Pole post office was available for writing and mailing our letters to Santa. Kathryn didn't know what she wanted for Christmas, but Casey wanted a "Dorothy movie" aka Wizard of Oz.
